Whether your event style is classy, whimsical, high-end, or casual, this classic venue allows you to make the day your own whether it be a small wedding, a business event, or a private party. Located in the historic district of Downtown Joplin, Missouri, VAZZO Venue is the perfect setting for intimate gatherings.
The venue offers three rooms totaling around 2,000 sq. ft. Entertain your guests in the captivating front parlor below vintage art deco ceiling tiles and flanked by gorgeous exposed brick. Next you will find a kitchen and bar area complete with a 17 ft back counter, full uppers and lowers, and a
12 ft bar that is sure to meet all of your party needs. Nestled in the back through a breathtaking exposed stone and brick archway is the back room perfect to create an intimate dance floor, host a high-end business meeting, or arrange a cozy dinner catered by one of our fabulous downtown, locally owned restaurants.
The rich history of VAZZO Venue is sure to be a great attraction and conversation piece. Beginning as a Sorber-Kuhn Auto Supply Company back in 1916 followed by the Joplin Pleating and Button Company in the 1920’s it was soon transformed into The Grand Union Tea Company, a door-to-door grocery store that delivered goods in horse-drawn carriages, until the supermarket was developed and Crescent Grocery took over. In later years, the location also served as a bar, a print shop, and finally as a stainless glass shop. With a historic, industrial, and modern design aesthetic in mind, the building has gone through recent renovations to return it to its former glory.
VAZZO Venue provides privacy and personality by offering the use of the entire first floor of the building. VAZZO will take care of the basics while you are free to design the rest. Cultivate the atmosphere you desire from the food and drinks to the layout and decor.
Celebrate anytime as VAZZO Venue is available 7 days a week from 6:00am-12:00pm.
